My name is Schwarbu Eastwood Kamara, and I am a passionate filmmaker whose creative journey has been profoundly influenced by my ancestral heritage. The genesis of Eastwood Films Company Ltd is a tribute to the legacy of my father and his remarkable journey.

My father’s story begins in Wassadou, a remote enclave nestled in the Eastern part of Senegal. His adventurous spirit led him on a transformative odyssey, as he departed Senegal and sought refuge in Guinea. In Guinea, he made Kankan, situated in the Eastern region of the Republic of Guinea, his new home. Here, he joined the Guinean army, seeking a path to a better life.
